Dear Waldorf Community,
An initiative is underway to create an Independent Study Public Waldorf Charter School that would serve students in grades K-12.
This initiative would make it possible for Waldorf homeschool families to have public funds to support their educational efforts, including access to California credentialed Waldorf teachers for instructional support, planning and advice. The initiative is also working to create social opportunities for homeschool students through optional participation in traditional Waldorf field trips, festivals, and subject classes, such as handwork, eurythmy, form drawing and games. Our hope is to be able to provide a rich public Waldorf educational experience, in the North Bay, that has the freedom of Independent Study with the benefits of access to the pedagogical depth and consciousness of site-based Waldorf programs and their faculty of experienced teachers.
If you are interested in being a part of this exciting initiative, please take a moment to complete our survey. We also ask for your help in sharing this survey with anyone you think may also be interested in our initiative.
The key to the success of our efforts will be the support of our community – thank you!
