The partnership between teachers and parents helps to ensure the healthy development of each student. This relationship is fostered by class meetings, parent education, conferences and community events.
The purpose of the Parent Council is to assist the sustainability of Heartwood through parent involvement, effective communication, and the enrichment of educational objectives. The Parent Council works in collaboration with the faculty and administration to welcome new families and to develop parent education opportunities. Parents also enhance key community events, committees and encourage fundraising efforts.
